I’m hoping to get another two remixes of Chankfonts up and on here soon-ish. Those will be Skylab (a remix of Orbital) and Fallen Thyme (a remix of Thymesans).
Also, if you want to see the technical side of the fontmaking process, I’ve still got a HOWTO that I posted to Flickr years and years ago.
I’ve got some other plans afoot, too:
- Get my old font display graphics into a set on Flickr./li>
- Get new hand-lettering font pulled together and scanned.
- Finish cleaning-up the graphics on this site.

So I’m actually back up and running for realz now. First font is up — the return of Dresden Firestorm — with more coming today. This morning, even.
Obviously, I have some graphic clean-up issues that need to be resolved in the near future, and man, I can’t let this site lie fallow much longer. The blog spammers have found me and I’m getting 70+ comments a day from the link farmers. Fortunately, Akismet and WordPress stop those from hitting the live site.
I’ll try to address some of that this morning, before I head off to do some work for my other small biz. Oh, and in other awesomeness, I’m going to be a dad! There’s a post at my personal blog.
More to follow!

It’s possible. I tried to log in this morning to do some work on the site and, oddly, the site’s admin user had a new name. I’ve deleted that account, and done a little digging. I think I’m okay for the time being, but I’m keeping tabs on the situation.

Over at my other endeavor, Pallas Athena Custom Bicycles, I donate $25 out of every frame sale to Home for Life®, a local charity that provides a permanent home for animals that have been injured, abused, or are otherwise unadoptable. I have decided to do something similar with Fontosaurus.
To that end, five percent of all revenue generated will go to supporting that organization. The people there are doing amazing work to help those that haven’t got the ability to help themselves.
